ARTIST STATEMENT: I wanted to create an artwork that showed the contrast in colours within the environment and the differing textures between humans and animals. ABOUT THE ARTIST: This piece is Shortlisted in the 2021 Sovereign Art Foundation Students Prize in Guernsey. Charlie created this piece aged 16 while studying at Le Mare de Carteret High School.
